Reset jumper? Suggestions for the Arduino Project ...

20210506· After all the issues I see here in the forums relating to reset issues. Having to add a resistor on the reset pin when using the Arduino as an ISP programmer is kinda wonky. Perhaps it would be a worthwhile thing to add either a jumper or a small switch to the next release to deal with this? The Sanguino has a jumper to disable the reset.

Electronic Jumper for Power Switching

20210506· I was curious if it was possible to remove the physical jumper that controls which source of power the arduino board uses and replace it by an electronic switch. My electronic experience isn''t that great so I was hoping I could get some insight here from the gurus. One note. We will be powering the arduino board via an external power supply and connecting a wire to the 5V pin instead of using ...

Jumper Connections Project Guidance Arduino Forum

20210505· Hi. brief introduction I’m Marcus and I’m new to Arduino. I have decent knowledge on C++. My scenario is this: I want to make a circuit that is able to read different connections when a plug is connected to it, and it outputs what kind of plug it is and the class number based on the jumper wiring inside the plug itself. So may I ask for some of your views/advice on how I can go around ...
